MESSAGE OF THE MONTH, (MARCH
2003)
ITS NOT ALRIGHT TO FEEL AT HOMEHave ever been to a place to visit and you are told to sit at home? Really there Is no point feeling at home in a place that is not your home. What is a home? A home simply means where you live, your habitation, your dwelling place, we can even put it this way, your home is the place where you sleep, wake and conduct everything thing that has to do with your private life. In fact we can boldly say under normal condition most of your time is spent there. Having said all that I want to say that even this world that we live in is synonymous to a home. Considering the banking industry, most of their workers spent the majority of their lifetime in the bank. Knowing this I want to say that will it be proper to say their home is in the bank. No. Not at all. Let us Consider Hebrew11: 13c (Amplified Bible) and all the while acknowledging and confessing that they were strangers and temporary residents and exiles upon the earth. Excuse me Sir/Ma who are you here on earth? The word pf God declare that you are stranger and temporary residents here. Why do you live here as though you will remain here forever? Why are your aspiration, dream, goals and achievements centered on this temporary place called EARTH? Let me tell you frankly you are just here for a short time; your time will be up very soon. The Earth is synonymous to a market place, a man going to the market knows that she must return back home no matter how many hours she spent in the market. This world is not your home you are just passing through. Hebrew 11:14 now those people who faith as they did show plainly that they are in search of a fatherland (their own country). Amplified Bible. Listen this world is created by your Father (God) that is if you have ever made Jesus the lord of your life, but the father land is up above (HEAVEN).The early saint seek a better place than this earth, they seek an incorruptible place of abode other than the perishable world that will be destroyed in no time. Sir/ma, which home are you seeking? The heavenly home or the earthly one? Let us hear the conclusion of the matter, you do not have to feel at home in this world because this is not home, we are just passing through and our treasure are laid down somewhere behind the blues. Every man, woman, old, young must know that its not alright to feel at home here. If a man gains the whole world and loves his soul what can he give in exchange of his soul? May the Lord give you understanding in Jesus name? MESSAGE OF THE MONTH,(FEBRUARY 2003) DELIGHTED, EXTREMELY DELIGHTED! Delight thyself also in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalms 37:7 The bible makes us to know that God "satisfies the desire of every living thing", (ps. 145:16), and that when it comes to us is even ready to "wait, that He may be gracious to us, (Is 30:18). But the bible clearly states various criteria that would be necessary if we were to walk in this realm of total satisfaction. This month, we will be talking about one of them: DELIGHT! Delight thyself also in the Lord", says David, "and He shall give thee the desire of thine heart". This connotes pleasure, it connotes jubilation, it calls for an _expression of joy. "Enjoy serving the Lord", as the easy-to-read version puts it. This fundamental but easily overlooked key to divine satisfaction. God, our heavenly Father, does not like crabby children - no father does and that is why we do not get the best from Him when we are grumpy. No matter what the situation may be, no matter what could have occurred. Your family, co-workers, even your church may,( for example), all turn against you, you may be feeling depressed, you may feel like the world just turned as inhospitable as Mars, you may turn irritable, but make sure all that does not shift to God. Now it is nice to be sincere about your situation, ( no use pretending to God when you are deep in trouble), but mind the language. I once told God that I was "disappointed" that He did not cover for me in a particular situation; and what did that sincere prayer lead to? Nothing. Blaming God for your circumstances, (or being moody with Him), is the equivalent of shooting yourself in the foot. Sincerity is good - if it is combined with praise. After all, we are to "enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise",(Ps. 100:4). God cannot be drawn into the same mood you are in, so get up into His own mood, Neh 8:10 says the joy of the lord is your strength. So when next trouble comes knocking, get excited! Because God is about to move again in your life. GET EXCITED, BE DELIGHTED! Message of the month, (January 2003) (Word for the New Year).
THERE IS NO MISSING IT THIS YEAR I pray for Gods favour upon your life. The things, which were hitherto thought impossible for you, will be made possible in Jesus name.
Remember this, with all your getting this year, get understanding. (Pr.
4:7; IChr.12:32). Passage of the month, (December 2002). 1Jn. 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Mt. 24:32,33. THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST IS HERE * July 9 2002 - The African Union, (AU), was launched in South Africa. Modeled on the European Union, EU, the AU plans soon to have a parliament common currency, central bank, e.t.c (The EU already has all these in place.) AU quote: when you, (i.e. a country), become a member of the AU, you lose a certain level of sovereignty; (and) you must accept that. - Olusegun Obasanjo, president of Nigeria. · July 13 2002-After much opposition by the United States, the International Criminal Court, (ICC), was inaugurated. It is a world court that has jurisdiction over the nationals of UN member countries in matters such as genocide, e.t.c · ICC quote: Many countries had fears of handing over their judicial rights on their citizens to a world court. - News commentator, BBC World service. · August 5 2002 - Japan introduces a new computerized system that civic rights groups say is an infringement on human rights. Each citizen will be given an 11-digit code that, when processed, will show things like a person's name, age and address. · Today, about 100 countries operate national identity cards. The United Kingdom, (UK), and Spain are trying to make theirs even more inclusive. · October 2002 - The Belarussian government has brought out a blanket law to clamp down on all religions except the Greek Orthodox Church. Included in this law is a ban on all religious activities at residences. The government claims the law is to target 'evil cults'. (This law does not even mention them). · Today, in the UK, a person may be detained indefinitely on the basis of 'secret evidence'. 1 thess 5:4 These are just a few of developments I observed in the passing year. The bible says we are not of the night that that day should meet us as a thief in the night. BRETHREN, BE SOBER.
